What happens to our data if we cancel?

Cancelling doesn't touch your data by itself — it schedules your plan to end, and access continues right up to your current billing period's close before anything changes.

Cancelling doesn’t touch your data by itself — it schedules your plan to end, and access continues right up to your current billing period’s close before anything changes.

What this means for you

  • Selecting cancel doesn’t cut you off immediately. You’ll see “Your plan is set to cancel,” telling you the exact date you keep access until, with a Resume plan button in case you change your mind before then.

  • Once that date passes, your plan reverts to Free. That change is about which features you can use — it does not, by itself, touch what’s already stored.

  • What actually controls how long screenshots are kept is your own Screenshot retention setting, under Privacy & data: a nightly job deletes screenshots older than the window you’ve set, on the same schedule whether you’re on a paid plan or not.

  • We can’t confirm from here what happens to your account or its data over a longer term after a cancellation lapses — if that matters for your situation, ask support directly rather than assume either way.
